We are pleasure to announce starting to sell print works created with 100 million pixels. This time, we present some masterpiece of Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Hiroshige, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Vincent van Gogh, Vasily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian, and Gustav Klimt.

High reproducibility with 100 million pixels high-resolution shooting

PrimoArt is a high-definition printing technology that DNP has developed over many years. It processes data in high-resolution, reproduces colors and touches as close as possible to the original image, and can print on a wide variety of paper types, including art paper, canvas, Japanese paper, and backlit film.

Ordinary printing uses four inks (CMYK), but PrimoArt’s 10 inks provide a wider color gamut than usual.

For photographing the works, we used “PHASE ONE”, a high definition digital camera with over 100 million pixels, to faithfully read the colors and brushstrokes of the works, as well as the eye of the canvas and paper, and to produce a reproduction that is close to the original image.
